1. 2PE/3PE SPIRAL STEEL PIPE

 

3 PE anticorrosion steel pipes is one kind of external anticorrosion steel pipe which is composed by 3 layer structure polyolefin coating (MAPEC). It is widely used in China. 

The structure of the 3 PE anticorrosion steel pipe: 3PE anticorrosion generally consists of 3 layers of structure: the first layer of epoxy powder (FBE>100um), the second layer adhesive (AD) 170 ~ 250um, the third layer polyethylene (PE) 2.5 ~ 3.7mm.

During the actual operation, the three materials will be mixed together. It will form a good anti-corrosion layer firmly combined with the steel pipe after the processing. There are two types of processing: winding and round cladding.

3PE anti-corrosion coating is three layers of polyethylene anticorrosion coating. It combines the 2 PE anti-corrosion layer widely used in Europe and FBE(epoxy powder anti-corrosion coating) used in North America together. It is one new anti-corrosion steel pipe layer which has been recognized and widely used in the whole of the world for more than 10 years. 

 

Introduction:

3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe is a commonly used anticorrosion pipeline with three layers of polyolefin coating. There are also other anticorrosion modes such as IPN8710, FBE epoxy powder and epoxy coal pitch.

 

Main Components of Anti-Corrosion Steel Pipe:

The 3pe anti-corrosion is made up of three-decker:

The first layer is epoxy powder (FBE>100um). 

The second layer is adhesive ( AD) 170～250um.

The third layer is polyethylene (PE) 2.5～3.7mm. 

 

Features of Anti-Corrosion Steel Pipe: 

In the practical operation, the three ingredients are mixed up in the process and combined with the pipes tightly to form an erosion resistant coating. The processing mode includes the general wrapping and the round model coated.
